
Mr. Shermer built a multi-faceted career, beginning with founding and operating a successful hearing aid business in Florida from 1986 to 1994. After selling that practice, he transitioned to the senior financial market, where he founded Elder Financial Group and created a marketing company that successfully trained and managed a national network of over 770 financial and insurance professionals by 2005. From 2012 to 2019, he leveraged his financial background to facilitate hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate development transactions. His experience led him to American Home Care Services in 2019, where he was appointed COO in 2020 to oversee day-to-day operations and agent training.

John is a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces and executive business management professional with an extensive international portfolio. Throughout his career, he conducted business and established offices throughout Europe, the Middle and the Far East, Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Additionally, he has been involved in the health protection business for over 38 years, with domestic offices located in Texas, Louisiana, Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Florida.
